DexScreener is the chart site most traders open first when they want to see what is moving on-chain, and its Trending list is the most-watched list on it. A token in the top 10 gets a steady stream of attention from people who are actively looking for something to trade. That is why creators want it, and why it has become one of the most common things people ask for.
What the trending list is
DexScreener ranks tokens on its trending list using its own signals, such as trading activity, volume, liquidity, how many people are viewing a token and how quickly those numbers are changing. The company does not publish the formula and it changes it over time, so nobody can give you an exact recipe.
What is stable is the shape of it: a token needs real, recent activity, enough liquidity for that activity to be believable, and attention from people on the platform. You can influence all three.
Two ways to get there
Organically. Launch well, build liquidity and holders, keep the chart active and give people a reason to look. This takes the longest and depends on competition that day, but it costs nothing except effort. Our guide to getting your token trending covers the fundamentals.
With a placement. You can order a Top 1–10 placement for a fixed period. In Mentat Booster, DexScreener trending is ordered in Telegram: you send your token's DexScreener link, choose 12 or 24 hours (Solana) or 24 hours (other chains), and pay in SOL, BNB or ETH. The link fixes the chain and the exact pair that is boosted.
What a placement requires
A placement is only worth buying if your token qualifies. The minimums depend on the chain:
| Chain | Requirements |
|---|---|
| Solana | Market cap $80K+ and 24-hour volume $300K+ |
| BNB Chain, Ethereum | Liquidity $30K+ and 24-hour volume $150K+ |
| Robinhood Chain | Market cap $40K+ and 24-hour volume $100K+ |
| Other chains | No minimums |
Your token's profile on DexScreener should also be filled in. Prices are $1,100 for 12 hours or $1,450 for 24 hours on Solana, and $950 for 24 hours on other chains. See the pricing page for the full list.
Why tokens get removed
Placements are not guarantees of staying power. Two things commonly end one early:
- A price crash. If the price drops 80% or more, DexScreener may remove the token. This is not refundable, since the placement was delivered.
- Falling below the requirements. If volume, liquidity or market cap drops under the minimums, the token can be removed. On Solana, a market cap under $60K pauses the placement until it recovers above $80K.
This is the main reason to prepare before you order. A token that only just clears the minimums is at risk the moment activity fades.
How to prepare
- Check the requirements for your chain and compare them with your token's current stats.
- Build volume first if you are short. A volume bot can raise 24-hour volume, and the Bump Booster keeps a new chart moving while you grow.
- Fill in the token's profile with a logo, links and a description, so the page looks trustworthy when traffic arrives.
- Add social proof such as DexScreener reactions and a buy bot in your community group.
- Order the placement when the numbers are comfortably above the minimums, not barely at them.
What to expect
Trending raises visibility. It does not raise price on its own, and it cannot make a weak token strong. Treat it as a way to put a token that is already doing the basics right in front of more people for a day. Frequently asked questions
How do you get on DexScreener trending?
There are two routes. Organically, a token trends when its activity, liquidity and attention grow faster than the competition. Or you can order a trending placement, which puts your token in the Top 1–10 for 12 or 24 hours if it meets the platform's requirements.
What are the minimum requirements?
They depend on the chain. For a Mentat Booster placement, Solana tokens need a market cap of $80K and 24-hour volume of $300K, BNB Chain and Ethereum tokens need liquidity of $30K and volume of $150K, and Robinhood Chain tokens need a market cap of $40K and volume of $100K. Other chains have no minimums.
Can a token be removed from trending?
Yes. If the price drops 80% or more, or the token's stats fall below the requirements, DexScreener can remove it. A market cap under $60K pauses a Solana placement until it recovers above $80K.
Does trending make the price go up?
No. Trending puts your token in front of many more traders. What they do next depends on the token and the market.
